Encountering God Services
EGS or "Encountering God Service is just that: a time to meet with the love of your soul face-to-face. As RHOP has many times throughout the week just to "soak," an EGS provides understanding of the "why's" of a House of Prayer. RHOP has a mandate of raising up a people that have a healthy view of God: as Father, Savior, Comforter, Healer, and so on.
An EGS service has distinctives of learning:
- The Bridal Paradigm
- The urgency of the hour
- God's pursuit to call forth intercessors with a lifestyle of prayer and fasting
- A belief that God's desire is to HEAL
RHOP hosts a weekly EGS service
Thursday Nights 6:00pm-8:30pm
Worship begins at 6:00pm, message is at 7:00pm, ministry time usually follows until 8:30 pm
Come and join both young and old in these special services

Encountering God’s Heart

Encountering God’s affections is one of the primary pathways God uses to release us into our destiny. It is the foundation that empowers us to run to God instead of from God when we so often stumble in sin and weakness during our journey in this life. Accurately understanding how God thinks and feels toward us is essential in our Christian maturity. When we are anchored in the experience of God’s love, then we are equipped to resist compromise in times of temptation, to walk in humility in times of exaltation and to not yield to the fear of man when criticized. This 3 week series will focus on unveiling specific aspects of God’s personality and affections for us so that we would “experience the love of Christ Jesus which passes knowledge, that we would be filled with the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:18-19)
